Aldagi-BCI Pension Fund
Aldagi BCI Pension Fund currently has over 8,500 pension fund scheme participants. It is the largest pension fund in Georgia with an overall asset value of GEL 6.8 million as of January 2012. The fund's portfolio comprises of a number of positions in domestic and foreign equities, fixed income and money market instruments, including long-term deposits.
Aldagi BCI pension fund is a part of Aldagi BCI insurance group (a subsidiary of Bank of Georgia), which was created through a merger of two prime insurers Aldagi and BCI in 2006. Aldagi was established in 1990 and it is the first Georgian insurance company. Since its establishment, Aldagi BCI has played a leading role on the market. As for BCI, it was considered as one of the fastest developing insurance companies in the country, offering its clients diversified and innovative product range.
